One of the most interesting games of round 14 was a derby match between two teams from Belgium. The game took place in Jemappes where twelfth ranked Leuven Bears outleveled host Belfius Mons-Hainaut (5-9) 93-63 . Leuven dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Belfius Mons-Hainaut ' 34. Leuven outrebounded Union Mons 41-20 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Leuven players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American forward Kelton Talford (201, college: Winthrop) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and swingman Tytan Anderson (198, college: UNI) supported him with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Leuven Bears players scored in double figures. Even 16 points by point guard Matteo Verstraete (189-2003) did not help to save the game for Union Mons . Slovenian guard Maks Klanjscek (196-1999, college: Oklahoma) added 8 points and 4 assists for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Leuven maintains twelfth position with 6-8 record. Union Mons lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with nine games lost.
